Two Ways To Write

The pencil grasps the hand
And passion flows out
Creating beauty; your piece is alive.

You force the pen into your hand.
And state facts,
Creating nonsense; your piece is not dead.
It never existed.

I really like this piece because it's so true (the second is how I feel right now doing make-up homework haha). You used really nice diction and I like how the ending is a little bit of a twist, but also thought-provoking.
Great Work :]

I love the line "your piece is alive"

This simple poem creates a big image for me: I picture a pencil doodling by itself on a notebook and creating pretty pictures.

the last line is excellent. i like the parallel form in which the entirity of the poem is constructed in. overall it is thoughtful and very relatable.
